:/ that sucks! I’ve just seen this now. How come your deciding to not use it?

I spent the beginning of the week at a conference with some people from uni because I’m going to be leading a small group (like a Bible study) this year, and it made me think about what is important in life. I spend quite a bit of time on tumblr, and I think it would be sad to look back on my years as a young adult and realise that I didn’t really use my time well. I think I need to live without tumblr for a little while.

I will miss everyone though - I have “met” some really wonderful people on here.

Oh sweet anon! Thank you so much.

I’ve now decided to not use it for a very long time - maybe one day I will come back.

Let’s stay in touch, miss!

Yes! I can’t get to your ask box for some reason. Would it be weird if I found you on facebook?

I’m going to be deleting my tumblr pretty soon (or getting someone to change the password so I have to stay off it 99.99% of the time). If you’d like to keep in contact (via facebook, email, carrier pigeon, etc.) please reply to this post or send me a message. Thanks so much for following me - you’re all lovely people! It’s been fun.

The Philosophy of Andy Warhol (by Andy Warhol)

"During the 60s, I think, people forgot what emotions were supposed to be. And I don’t think they’ve ever remembered. I think that once you see emotions from a certain angle you can never think of them as real again. That’s what more or less has happened to me. I don’t really know if I was ever capable of love, but after the 60s I never thought in terms of “love” again. However, I became what you might call fascinated by certain people. One person in the 60s fascinated me more than anybody I had ever known. And the fascination I experienced was probably very close to a certain kind of love."
